In the test, Touchstone verified the capabilities of Apposite's Netropy® series network impairment generators to create a wide array of problems that impair real time communications networks. Touchstone used their WinEyeQ™ VoIP and Video analysis solution as well as their IntelliMarc™ distributed monitoring solution to identify and report on the detected anomalies. Simulations included packet loss, path delay, excessive jitter, and congestion and packet ordering problems.
