SD-WAN Voice Quality Assurance Testing

While SD-WAN solves many QOS problems for VoIP providers, it does not guarantee the service will be great every time. SD-WAN solutions can monitor different metrics like packet interval (latency), jitter, and packet loss and when high levels of these impairments occur, select a different path with higher quality. When the packets leave a branch or site, there is no guarantee of the quality if they are routed through a public internet. With WinSIP you can test these types of scenarios and make sure the quality of the voice/video is not degraded when stressful conditions occur.

WinSIP can run many different test plans including real-world stress tests with a high volume of voice and video calls with real RTP and signaling; both long/short duration calls with a high calls per second rate. After each call is completed the results are generated providing different metrics including Latency, Jitter, Packet Loss, MOS and R-Factor. You can use our WinSIP application and run a set of tests to check the quality of the calls and verify the provisioning of the SD-WAN equipment, including the voice prioritization at the routers on both the HQ site and at the branch sites are set correctly and the network is working perfectly without any problems. Our professional services team is available to help you with any aspects of the testing and any troubleshooting or diagnostics that need to be run.
